AMERICAN GRAVEYARD

I’m honored to be called on as curator for the artistic aspect of the film AMERICAN GRAVEYARD by Director/Filmmaker Heather Quinlan. AMERICAN GRAVEYARD is a documentary about an African-American cemetery of free and formerly-enslaved people that was paved over into a strip mall in Staten Island. It’s a deeply moving story. We will be filming the creation of work that will help bring the story to life. It will include an exhibition of incredible artists that I’ve gathered to help bring the story to life. I will also be creating work for the film.
